listen, I’m just saying:

1. if a trans person says someone is being transphobic, as a cis person, it is not your job to argue with them.
2. if a gay person says someone is being homophobic, as a straight person, it is not your job to argue with them.
3. if a young person says someone is making them uncomfortable, as someone who is much older than them, it is not your job to argue with them.

and if you are trying to argue with the lgbt youth about this and trying to make excuses, you should maybe try taking a step back and reevaluating your life and your priorities.
